"Authentic Thai food, with even better photography in the Gallery"

Best Thai food we've had since arriving in Thailand 9 days ago, (Bangkok and koh samui first). A warm welcome from the owner when checking out the gallery after the meal. Food and drinks were very reasonable we felt the need to buy some art from the gallery.

Amazing restaurant in Koh Tao, a league apart from any of the average catered for tourists fare you find in Koh Tao. Here we experienced the best of authentic Thai cuisine and had a mouth watering true culinary experience. Each dish we tried was carefully crafted with the freshest ingredients and flavours were simply exploding in your mouth! We loved every single dish but would give special mention to the fried papaya salad with shrimp and the steamed fish seasoned in chilli and lemon marinade, simply outstanding! Service was attentive and professional, and we greatly appreciated Chris guidance on the choice of plates as well as his attentiveness throughout the meal. Highly recommended!

"Amazing food"

We came across this place on our travels around the island. The food was fantastic, very tasty authentic Thai food. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We will be going back there before we head back home.

"Seriously “Trust the Chef”

We came here because the reviews were spectacular, and we were not disappointed!! We chose the trust the chef meal for 2 people, we felt like it was beyond what we expected! The food was brilliant; the cashew chicken just danced on your pallet, and the coconut curry fish literally melted in your mouth! The multiple appetizers that started the menu just continued to impress and the plating looked divine! Then to finish it all the mango sticky rice. Holy cow! It truly was the best way to finish the meal! The environment was very relaxed and private and the staff were very friendly and made our dining experience all the better! Would recommend to any and all who are looking for a good quality meal! Hats off to the entire team at Gallery you made the first evening in Koh Tao one to remember! ( they also have an adorable dog in the Gallery who is super friendly).

"Amazing flavours"

This restaurant was our favourite on our visit to Koh Tao. Everything we ordered had so much flavour and was also presented beautifully. We were so impressed we came back a second time.

"Best meal in Thailand so far!!"

This is an amazing restaurant with fantastic food and staff. We saw it came highly recommended so gave it a try and did not regret it. All the dishes we had were outstanding coupled with polite and courteous staff. It is fairly reasonably priced and quiet (as it isn’t directly on the beach). There is also the added bonus of having an (actual) gallery attached to it which is worth a walk round. Couldn’t recommend this restaurant more!

"AMAZING!!"

The Gallery Restaurant has AMAZING food! When I got to Koh Tao I wasn’t enjoying the food BUT then I heard about this restaurant and fell in love! The food is delicious and the staff is AMAZING. My boyfriend and I ate there for 5 nights straight!! I didn’t want anything else. We tried several items on the menu and loved them all!! The Thai spices and flavors are soooo delicious and they will customize the spicyness to your liking. The atmosphere is great, especially with the view of the art gallery next door. I truly LOVED EVERYTHING about this restaurant!! When in Koh Tao you must visit The Gallery Restaurant for amazing Thai dining!! The prices are very reasonable!!! Don’t miss out!

"BEST MEAL IN KOH TAO"

WOW is all I can say. Delicious Thai food, great vegetarian options, lovely atmosphere, and great music. I loved the music so much I had to ask the owner Chris for his playlist. The service is great, the owner is lovely, the wine selection is by far the best on the island. Highly recommend!

"Best restaurant in Koh Tao!"

Having visited this place three years ago we had great memories of the fab food and ambiance. We returned again with our daughter and son in law and our son. We visited three times. Our daughter who is vegan found it no problem to select dishes and we just loved all the food we had. It was tasty, well-presented and spiced to our liking. The music was good too! Thanks, Chris and co!

My husband and I returned to Koh Tao for 3 days with family and friends. We had one thing set on our agenda...take everyone to the Gallery. We ate there on two occasions during our stay and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food. (Morning Glory was better than I remembered it being from our last trip!!!)

Everything we ate had the most incredible flavours, cooked perfectly and presented beautifully. Chris is a very hands-on owner and takes the time to engage with his patrons, he was also kind enough to open up the bar area and find the rugby game on tv my husband was wanting to watch.

One of the gents on our trip is a chef and owns his own restaurant back in South Africa. He was amazed at how delicious everything was!

If you are heading to Koh Tao, be sure to add the Gallery to your agenda as you won't be sorry! Also, make sure to take a walk through Chris's gallery where you can view some of the most beautiful photography of Thailand.

I am on my second visit to The Gallery and I have again been blown away by the hospitality and outstanding food. Myself, my husband and two friends attended for dinner and couldn't wait to return again for lunch the follow day. The pork dishes are particularly amazing, however, all dishes were the best we have tasted in Thailand! Not one to miss! You will not be disappointed. Can not recommend it enough!!!!

This is a lovely little restaurant, and can not recommend highly enough, the owners and staff are also lovely people and will make your experience there very enjoyable, having traveled round Thailand this establishment provides the best food I have experienced, if you're ever on koh tao definitely pay them a visit you will not regret it
